Pathetic Customer Service

Outdoor Warehouse Worcester I experienced the worst customer service at Outdoor Warehouse Worcester today. I was looking at a Leatherman Curl (currently on sale). The only available unit available was the display model. The tools on the unit were very, very loose. I am well aware that the tools can be tightened. I mentioned to the staff that the tools were loose and asked whether there is a display discount. The manager then informed me that the unit was already on sale and there would be no discount. I showed him how loose the tools are, he then decided a good argument would be that some Leatherman models "are just like that". I informed me that I bought the same model for my husband a few weeks prior and it is NOT normal for the tools to be loose, I would have to tighten it. The manager was adamant that some Leatherman models 'are like that". The manager was arrogant and rude. Not only did Outdoor Warehouse lose a R2000 sale today, they lost a customer. Also, huge shout out to Cape Union Mart for the 17% display discount (without me asking) and the very friendly service.
