Outdoor Warehouse Fourways crossing pathetic

I have been a client of the four-ways crossing Outdoor Warehouse store for several years. On 13 July I went to Outdoor warehouse four ways crossing to purchase a water reservoir for my bakkie. ..The reservoirs of different unmarked sizes are on the floor , however the staff and manager could not provide a tape measure!! - as I needed a specific size Having spoken to the manager Nian who mumbled something about "they used to have a tape" - he just walked off to his office without offering any help, I then walked to Builders warehouse and purchased a tape for R40 - to measure the product. To my mind and if the manager was worth his salt surely he could have just asked one of his staff to go to Builders and purchase a tape - instead of expecting his customers to do this for him?? Despite passing us several times on the store floor at the water reservoirs (after we had purchased a tape to measure the product) - the manager did not once enquire if we had found a solution - just completely ignored us. Evidently the manager has no capacity to sell Outdoor warehouse products and no inclination to help clients - and neither does he care... This was always a good store but with the change in management the feeling we got is that the service level, product knowledge and staff morale has dropped - and if the current managers attitude is taken into account - no wonder My advice is to try another Outdoor warehouse branch if you can - this branch at four-ways crossing is below par. All they would have to do is to pop across to Cape Union only a few steps away to learn about good staff and manager customer care!!
