GamePro Spotlight bought from Outdoor Warehouse

I purchased a GamePro Spotlight from Outdoor Warehouse in George on 31 January 2018 at a cost of R1500.00 to look at game animals at water holes in national parks during my annual visits. In Feb 2019 the light started to malfunction by dimming after being switched on and then going dead. You then have to switch it on multiple times for it to work again, this after it had been used for less than 40 minutes. The original box boasted about a 3 year guarantee against manufacturing faults. The light was returned to the store. However, the store manager was not at all interested in replacing the light and insisted that it be sent for repairs. The guarantee on the box was pointed out to him. He stated that Outdoor Warehouse do not honour the supplier's guarantee but their own inhouse 1 year guarantee. If that is the case, why was the guarantee on 2 sides of the box not covered up? The light was sent for repairs. However, the same fault re-appeared during this year's trip in February. Now since it is more than 3 years later I may as well get rid of the junk that Outdoor Warehouse sold to me under false pretences. I have spent a considerable sum of money at this retailer over the past number of years and have learned an expensive lesson, do not ever buy from Outdoor Warehouse again.
