Bad service and proper communication

Outdoor Warehouse Willowbridge.

I wanted to exchange a product not bought from Outdoor warehouse but they stock the product.

According to the manufacturer or the product I can exchange the item at any of their stockist.

I phoned Outdoor warehouse to enquire if this is accurate and that I will be able to exchange my product. The assistant on the phone told me that, that would be possible as long as the product is still in good condition.

Went home to pick up the product I wanted to exchange, only to arrive at the store and being told that the person I spoke to are not sure about the procedures and that I can't exchange the product. Totally wasting my time!
