BAD SERVICE/****** and GUN SAFETY
To whom it may concern, Today I visited the Blue Route Store of Outdoor & Velocity to purchase 2 Gamo air rifles for my twin nephews birthday. Upon entering the store I walked up to the counter and there was 3 staff behind the counter of which 1 ( a girl with short curly hair, glasses and a blue golf shirt ) was busy with a customer and a male and female and there was also a customer behind the counter looking at the Paintball guns. The male and female were eating what looked like cheese sticks so no masks were on and I was not acknowledged and asked to sanitize my hands. This did not bother me so much as I am used to bad customer service at most stores. As I was standing at the counter waiting for service the customer that was at the Paintball guns picked up a gun and pointed it in my direction. This made me feel uneasy because if the gun was loaded and it went off it could have hurt me and shouldn't 1 of the staff members be monitoring him if he is handling a dangerous weapon?
Then the girl that was eating cheese sticks with the guys got up to leave and the girl with the blue golfer shirt said to her quite loudly " You are just jealous that I am making a sale because you too busy walking around the mall". So the girl left the shop and the girl in the blue golfer shirt walked over to the guy eating cheese sticks ( I still have not have not been acknowledged at this point ) and she says to him and I quote " Why do you buy white peoples food?" to which he replies "What's wrong with it?" and she replies " You know that you are a colored and you must buy colored food because white people eat *** food and white people have *** taste. I was so shocked and disgusted at this racial remark and wanted to confront her as I am a white person and i did not know that food had a color preference and also in todays times racial remarks are a HUGE NO! and I did not want to start a whole argument instore. While all this was happening the customer with the Paintball gun ****ed the rifle and was pulling the trigger and he asked the male staff member what was wrong as he had ****ed it and wanted to fire it. The male staff member said that the safety was on and told the customer how to release the safety and the customer asked if he could fire it and the male staff member said yes and the guy fired it while pointing in my direction. I am truly outraged and disappointed in Outdoor & Velocity and I will be writing to the Editor of the community newspaper regarding this stores BAD SERVICE/****** and being unsafe with firearms .
