********* rude business practice

While on holiday we had to purchase a new air mattress. We purchased an inflatable mattress at Out There 24 Naboomspruit on 28 December 2018. Unfortunately it was of poor quality and did not inflate to its maximum. We wanted to return during our next trip to town on Sunday 30 December, but they were closed. Once reading slip we noticed that we have 7 days to return, so decided to do so on our next trip to town on 2 January 2019. Went in with box, unused product, attachment and slip. Owner/manager was called to assist us. She finally walked in, head down typing on her phone (pausing halfway through the shop for a while), went in behind counter still engulfed in her phone, not once acknowledging me. Shop assistant had to interrupt her again to inform her of my situation. She unpacked the box, whistled for another assistant to pump up mattress in the middle of the shop. Once adequately pumped according to her standards she stood back, informed me that it is pumped and we cannot return it (even though our till slip clearly stated that we could return all unwanted goods within 7 days). Her closing argument being that we should have returned it on 29 or 31 December when they were open and not on day 5 after purchase. ********* and rude...... will never see me again.
