Poor Workmanship and Service
It Started in 2014 of Dec. Bryanston Height has 4 lifts and is 22 floors. Otis has been servicing all the lifts. First they locked Lift A for six months. Then they locked the bachelor section lift for a few months. After we contacted KZN elevators and reported our poor service Otis came in and got all lifts working. It seems they just cannot work without being prodded. I have been told by other building managers that Otis deliberately stall their repairs to garner time. The residents of Bryanston heights are really exasperated with this company. Yesterday Otis closed down the service lift . This will now cause serious backlog of garbage removal from all the floors.I am afraid that vermin , like ****roaches and rats will run rampant in the building . Just imagine the odious smell that will, as well emanate from accumulated garbage. Their reasons of delay are always spares. This company does nothing but lifts and it seems improbable that spares are an issue.Resorting to lies can be a companies ruin.I wonder if Hello Peter can bring back smiles to 187 flat dwellers.

Dear Jashmer,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Your complaint has been escalated our Regional Manager in KwaZulu Natal.
We have completed a site assessment yesterday, 04.02.2016. The parts on the one lift are on order along with the Bachelor lift Buttons. The Goods lift was an issue with the ADS contacts broken. The senior adjustor is on site resolving this. The 2nd passenger lift has been a concern with the transformer and AUX contacts burnt. We have ordered all contacts as well as the transformer and are awaiting delivery of this. Our Regional Manager, Kershen Naidoo, will keep you updated on further progress.
