Poor Workmanship/Shocking service

I googled OTIM gates as i wanted to install newtec gates in my newly renovated property in Tableview. Their website is absolutely stunning ( which i later found out all the images are plagiarized and none of them their work. The owner uses an uber to commute with the material. They say the steel gates are galvanized but what he has is a spray paint which does say galvanize but i doubted this is how its done. The newtec was installed and painted while the frame of the gate was up which meant white paint went to the steel. It was done so bad at one point i asked him to give me the paint brush as I could do a better job. The whole experience was shocking and so bad. He initially wanted R12,000 for the gates and i negotiated down to R10,000 and he promised to renew my old existing gate and resell to some of his clients. Which 1 i found out there were never existing clients and 2 the gate is still in my property and he never delivered on his promise once i had paid the full balance and he had completed the work.

The steel is cut at your property with no following of any safety procedures. This guy is an ameture who at one point was taking some paint i had to paint the material which after i told him for 10k he can surely buy his own paint. And it was a wall primer and not meant for wood.

Stay away from this imposter. The website says you are dealing with their marketing manager but he is onsite doing the work. Yes, my gates are finally up but I had to coach him on what to do. It was so stressful. If i also knew where he stole the images of the beautiful gates in his website i would inform them but i dont.

Its actually sad that he is ruining the name of some of the hardworking Zimbabwe people I know. I will now be sceptical.
