irresponsible company fixing lawn movers and other equipment
<div>My lawn mover required a small plastic part in it's engine. The complete lawn mover was collected by Mr Duncan and one of his helpers of OTB at my house. After 2 weeks I called them. Mr Duncan said that it is ready for collection and 100% operational. On arrival at OTB workshop I noticed that the cutting blade was installed wrong way round. When they want to change it, I noticed that the blade's bolt was loose and too short. They took 1,5 hrs to look for another bolt and then made up a bolt. They started the machine and it was running at full revs, not able to be adjusted to idle mode. The next day they said that the lawn mover was 100%. I fetched it and when came at home, I again noticed that the blade was wrong way round, the bolt was loose and still running full revs. The pulling rope was too short. I took it back the next day for repair. When fetched again I had to test on my lawn. The lawn mover did not cut the grass even at lowest level. I took it back again and the owner said to me that they had to charge me for the extra time they spent and that they didn't have the correct "BOSCH" which causes the blade to be too high and that they need to order it. After 3 days I collected the lawn mover again. I tested it at my house and also noticed that the engine was not my original engine, as well as the carburator and fuel tank. During the test the filter holder came loose. I discovered that it was the wrong bolt *****ed in. When removed the filtered I further discovered that the wrong springs were inserted in the governor and it was bended and stretched badly. During the days I tried to call them several time, at which they didn't answer the phone as they could see it was me who called. I am sure the technicians are not competent to work on lawn movers, **** eaters, quad bikes and other sophisticated equipment. I became aware of that when waiting at the workshop and noticing their workmanship skills. I will not recommend any person to OTB even if it is the only company working on lawn movers in Vredenburg. They disappointed me too much.</div>
