Copies of unabrdiged certificates

Good day, i would appreciate if a mass communication as well as for Home Affairs staff on all ports of entry especially Oshoek to be well trained. Last week we travelled for a funeral and were sent back late at night because the office lady told us certified true copies of the kids unabridged certified were older than 3 months. she could not care the hours we travelled to get to the border, but insisted we go back. with tears in my eyes i need the Minister or any senior person at home affairs to explain to me which Law in SA stipulates that certified true copies needs to be not older than 3 month? we had to travel back to Johannesburg at night racing with trucks and kids crying because they were so tired. we have been using the same copies since the whole thing started with no problem. We had to wake up again the following morning took the originals and same copies, when we got to the border once again, it was a different officer, we produced the same copies we we had the previous night and were acceptable. How do you then explain such? i would really appreciate an explanation as soon as possible because having to travel back and forth is money and strenuous. Thanks
