Shady repair service

<p>In Oct 2016 I delivered my Canon 7D to Orms for repairs. I did my due dillegence upfront as I knew what was wrong with the camera. I received a qoute back, qouting R4550 for the DC/PCB board replacement. (cost of part only) I called to inform the workshop that I could provide them with the part at a cast of less than R800, and ask if they would fi it. The workshop manager said he would look into it and call back. He did call back on the same day informing me that the part qouted was correct but that thet gave the price of a different part and that they could match my price. Then I was told that my card reader was also faulty, this never appreared to be a problem. I was also informed that my battery would not charge, this later was discovered to be misinformation also. Once I collected my camera it was not focussing even though the work shop manager told me in person that he tested it after repairs. I insisted that I should only pay for the cost of replacement parts and not the serice. This request was not met.</p>
