Orion Hotel Nelspruit nigtmare

With regards to my stay, to be honest I wasn’t happy with the hotel at all. I would normally book at the Protea hotel but my hubby and I had just come from the Kruger National Park on the 6th July 2018 and decided to spend the weekend in Nelspruit and then come back to JHB on Sunday the 8th July that’s why I paid for the 2 nights, but I had to change rooms twice, and I let the guy an the reception know that very same night I would like to cancel my booking for the Saturday the 7th July booking. And he said it would be fine, he will leave a note and the next day the guy replacing him will help me and everything will be ok. There was a couch in the room which was extremely dirty every mark you could think of was on the couch, the bed was extremely hard and felt like you where sleeping on a plank, the bathroom had no shower curtain the water wet everything the noise levels where crazy, breakfast time we asked if we could sit outside no one even offered to set a table for us I had to do it myself an take cutlery and salt and place-mats off tables from inside, we halaal so i asked the chef if she cooked the eggs seperate from the meat she didnt even know what i was asking and kept saying these no alcohol. I really understand you guys are 3 star but for the price there should be at least a minimum standard level. I’m really sorry to complain but I really couldn’t do another night at that hotel. i have taken it up with Tamsin Mcgorrell from central reservations and she took 17 days to get a response out of her who then referred me to Phillip Schutte at the Orion hotel in Nelspruit which i contacted and he asked me to mail him which i did like thrice already and no reposnce and no reply and to date no refund on call nothing. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone, there service is pathetic and it was well over R 1200 per night. I will never use them again.
