Splashy Fen Refunds are a Disgrace!

Due to Covid-19 many shows, productions, live music festivals had to be cancelled. I all instances, I received a full refund except this one!

SPLASHY FEN MUSIC FESTIVAL , UNDERBERG, KZN

Early Bird Splashy tickets costs us 2 x R767.70 They normally sell around 5000 tickets per year The organisers offered 75% refund when they thought the festival would be postponed to September 2020. They even had a YouTube Splashy Fen Easter concert that encouraged us to contribute to the artists, which I did. R1000.00

When the festival was called off, Howler, their booking agent informed us that we would only get 30% of the refund back with an option of 20% discount for next years' festival.

My issue is as follows:

1. I feel exploited by the organisers by offering m3 R230.31 back per ticket 2. Expecting to come back in 2021, pay another +/- R800 per ticket and give me 20% off 3.Howler website that MADE me tick that I was HAPPY with this arrangement in order to refund me my R230.31 back! Not like I had a choice hey? 4. I have to wait another THREE weeks before the refund is sent, really? Are we that broke Splashy Fen? Where did all the money go?

Next year I will be supporting the Clarens Festival and Splashy will NEVER see me again! Many of our friends feel the same way and they lost more cash as they purchased for a family of six.
