Avoiding refund after non installation

We paid R 9000 deposit for an airconditioning unit to be installed by this company on 5 January 2016. To this day (15 March 2016) it has not been installed and after 13 official complaints of which we have comprehensive records (date/time/content), no progress has been made to get our refund. Every time we speak, Jacques has excuses and promises of refunding us. A number of calls were unanswered despite voice mails left urging them to reply. This never happened and he even became aggressive and invited us to take legal action which is what we are now doing. To us this constitutes nothing other than serious abuse of somebody else's money.
