Stay away from Oranje Toyota Klerksdorp

Went to Toyota 25 September 2025 for a check-up Quote for Toyota Etios front wipers not working, and a service Quote. Bietsie was doing the Quote as per findings of the head mechanic Johan du Preez, I'm not quiet sure if his surname saying that he tested everything regarding the wiper stalk, even tested a new one and that is what's wrong with front wipers. It took the mechanics 3 and half hours to check and apparently they did a diagnostic scan. Every time I ask Betsie or my husband Johan we were told they asked another mechanic to check to make sure. They gave as a quote on wiper stalk R6500,00! My car have 90 000km on, together with a service it came close to R10 000. Myself and husband decided that this is crazy and the day we went looking for a wiper stalk. Eventually we where send to Mohammed in CBD. He asked if he can have a check as it's impossible as the kilometers on car a d the fact that the same wiper stalk works on back wiper. He tested with a power light thing and my husband opened the cover where the wiper motor is. Walla he found the problem! 2 wires where off they smelled a mouse being by the wires. Wires we fixed and there the wipers work!!! Without costing us R1....I went back to Toyota as this was just not exceptional from a dealer Toyota!!!! When I went back it was last week between 1to 3 October 2025. I saw Bietsie and ask to take me to the service manager. She wasn't available and also the head mechanic Johan, his father passed away and he went foe funeral,, condolences to the family. Welma was next in charge and I was taken to her. I told her the story with Bietsie being with as she was also involved in the quotation and delt with mechanic Johan and I was told another mechanic have to dubble check. Walmart asked me to please give her time till Monday 6 October 2025 to get all the paperwork together so she can fully understand the complaint. Needless to say up to now nobody called me from Toyota!!!! Bietsie asked me if I'm going to book and do the service I said NO WAY! Toyota needs to make sure they have mechanics that know what they are doing there were no way the could've tested new wiper stalk and say it works when the wires where loose from the wiper motor. I have no no no trust is Toyota at all just hope the previous job the big service they did with fitting a new clutch and accessories with it was done 💯, even the car wash with the major service wasn't even washed and clean properly I also told Welma. Orange Toyota Klerksdorp will not be a dealership i will ever visit again and when anyone ask me about them I will tell this story. People needs to rather get a second quote to make sure it's the problem as Toyota being an agent have extremely the worst service ever!
