Painfully disappointing service

This business does not honor commitments they make to you as a client unless you threaten them with lawyers. And its such a pity because the furniture makers that she uses are actually really brilliant, they make beautiful pieces of furniture. Its a pity it wasn't possible to bypass her.

The sad thing is, we made a special effort to go out and look for her and support her business but she has shown very little regard towards that. Instead, she has taken over a year to deliver what she promised she would do in 6weeks and wants to blame Covid for the non-delivery, yet the furniture makers have been operational for ages...

She may even try use non-payment to defend herself but her terms stipulate how payments should be made. As a client, you must fulfill your end of the agreement but she exempts herself from fulfilling hers.

She is a poor communicator because she is only honest about progress after threats and even then does not completely tell the truth.

If you are going to use her, be warned. and make sure you project manage what she does to the tee. The finish project is beautiful, but the process to get to that product can be likened to a dentist pulling out your teeth without the anesthetic.
