Optivest Gap Cover and Brokers

My initial broker at Optivest guided me to a medical aid and Gap cover combination where i have to pay in R17000 after i had my appendix removed. The Gapcover-Western is not covering for the shortfall my medical aid did not pay out so i have no idea what the point of having this gap cover is. The new broker at Optivest is not helpful and instead tells me its my responsibility to read my medical aid and gap information sheet. He didn't seem knowledgeable about the products they offering. I definitely had much better guidance and customer service from my previous broker. Do not use optivest brokers and Gapcover. I will be trying out Zestlife whose agents are way more helpful, knowledgeable about their products and care to deliver excellent service.
