Oppo cellphone pin code problems.

My dad recently purchased an Oppo cellphone and added a pin code for security purposes. Since then, he has had endless trouble, the phone won't accept the code and he has to drive to Vodacom to get the code reset. He has had to do this several times now. He lives far from town. I don't recommend Oppo and would appreciate this situation to be sorted.
