Customer service..hardly!!!!!!!!

<p>This company has clearly no idea what the word, "customer service" means. I am both shocked and dissapointed at the appalling service I have received today. I made the call to Discover as I am planning my Zanzibar holiday, and had the utter misfortune of dealing with a representative by the name of Chanel Nieuwoudt. When enquiring about the entertainers voucher for 2017, which they advertise for "stone town tour" and "spice tour", she immediately went into a speech about how they should never have had been placed in the entertainers this year and how she has had numerous discussions with someone by the name of Johan (who is this Johan??) with regards to this add being placed. I then had to stop her and enquire first of all who this Johan is and secondly as to how a company can advertise and then tell its customer it was added to the entertainer in error. Chanel then goes on to tell me that this is not her problem and rattles off more information with very dramatic sighs in between,Chanel continued to be very condescending in her tone and attitide on the phone, adressing me as sweetie each timeI tried and stop her to get a word in. I then ask for management and get told that she is the manager, Well that was clearly not the answer I was expecting. I then get transfered to a Johan Gelderbloem who I was lead to believe would be the next in charge, Johan then curtly cut me off while talking advising me that he had been listening to the call and as Chanel has informed me all I need to know, Johan had even a bigger attitude to a point where I no longer wished to try and speak to the man, neither of these consultants allowed me to complete what I wanted to say nor did they treat me like a possible customer. I work in the Airline Industry and I am fully aware of what customer service sounds like. I did not get that today and In the very competitve world of travel this Agency is one I would suggest giving a miss. There are many customer service orientated and helpful Agencies out there. This one definitely is not one of them. </p>
