OVHD Decoders programmed life span

So I bought my decoder in 2015, and used it intermittently. So low and behold when I reacently tried to activate it again, I couln not, or clear the error code E04. After 2 days I called. Got to Bonang Mainani. (her spelling). I was told the decoder is old and out of life, and I have to buy a new one. At this point I must say that Can see the promo channel, hear the sound and can get radio stations. No TV channels.Asked to speek to someone more senior, but apparently she is the most senior oerson in the building. Rest out to lunch (still) at 14h45 So the decoder is programmed to self destruct after 5 years it seems. I was also told that my send unit as old will also stop working soon. (Check the recordings mr Mashaba) Consultant Thabang Mamrigane. Eventualy took the call, and told me like any appliance, they will break. I Explained that its not broken. He got into a verbal diarrhea and would not let me speak. Eventualy leaving the call. Bonang came back, and said she will escalate to Kholoselo Mashaba, but that has had no reaction. I have checked terms and conditions, and no where does it state you will have to replace after 5 years as per their statements. I will advise not to waste money on this enterprise, as clearly they program the units to make money.
