Openview unfair to customers

I have the old Openview decorder and because I never Registered it before I was told I have to buy a new decoder. I can’t understand why I should waste more money on buying another decoder. Openview should rather exchange the old decoder. We have 2 old Openview decoders now I must go buy new ones I think Openview is unfair to us the customer.
