**** Advertising

<p><strong>Opel Edenvale</strong> ran a special on Opel Corsa's. The Opel Corsa Turbo Sport was advertised for R219,900 (I saw this on 13 May 2016). We asked about any additional costs as this was a special and we were only told that an "Admin Fee" would be charged. After receiving the quotation from the Edenvale dealership (17/5/2016) I was firstly overcharged on the vehicle (I was now quoted R220,700) and further additional charges were all of a sudden added. I queried this with the sales person and I was then called by the Dealer Principal who tried to explain away the extra charges. He told me the car price on the quotation was an error and that he could take off the Admin Fee. He could not answer my question on what was involved with the "On the Road" charges, saying that the cost of R4788 was for the PDI and Petrol for the vehicle(?) amongst other things he could not recall? The "Service and Delivery" charge of R1368 was for registering and licencing the vehicle. I was then informed the vehicle had been sold when I pushed for reasons as to the extras on the quotation (ie metallic paint and park assist which came with the vehicle). The Admin Fee of R1250.53 was towards his finance lady processing finance applications. Unacceptable behaviour and service! If you advertise a product at a certain price then you have to sell <span style="text-decoration: underline;">THAT</span> PRODUCT in its <span style="text-decoration: underline;">entirety</span> at that price. I believe this was a **** to reign in clients under false pretenses! </p>
