Do Opel actually replace parts??

In February 2017, I took my car to Opel for and service and was told that I needed to replace the coil pack at a cost of approximately R4000.00. This issue arose again now in January and after fighting to get my car in to Opel Cape Town's work shop yesterday. I had no feedback from my service adviser, so I contacted him at around 2.30pm and was told that the coil pack was eroded... how does this happen in a matter of 11 months??

Worse than this though, I was told that I needed to wait a further week for the part to arrive in Cape Town and that in the meantime I could obviously not drive the car. When I queried if I would receive a courtesy car, as the problem was the fault of Opel, I was told that none were available and they could not assist me. I said to the consultant if he thought that I should hire a car for this time and pay for out of my own pocket (sarcastically) he told me that was a good idea and should definitely do that!! I could not believe my ears!! When i asked him to see what he could do about over night'ing the part to Cape Town, he said he would see what he could do and call me back... surprise.... STILL NO CALL - how does he think I got home last night?? Does he even care?? The service manager and dealer principal are constantly out and never reachable to complain too!!

What is the next step?? I am beyond frustrated with this process!! I have always loved Opel cars, but if this is the service, maybe it is time to move away.
