************!!! ********* Practices!!!

I'll share the jist of my experience. My fiance had taken our son to the doctors, my fiance was told that our son would need xrays and was assures that the medical insurance would cover the cost, they are fami**** with the insurance etc. We were later informed via sms that the bill was acknowledged which means its been covered. I then started receiving sms's stating the doctors bill was outstanding and that I should make a payment via some link. This was a red flag and gave the impression of a ****. No other communication was made, no invoice via email, no voicemail no whatsapp. In addition to this, I had received no communication from Unity Health stating that the cost of the xrays was infact rejected. Eventually I answer a call from a strange number, they claim to be the doctors receptionist explaining the outstanding bill. I explain I would have to confirm with my insurance and should I need to make the payment i will, I can't provide a date as it depends on when I get feedback. Regardless of this communication the account was handed over to lawyers. For what?! I have no idea. I went to see the doctors to explain that this is insane. The doctor agreed to meet me during my lunch the next day, we agreed he would contact me via WhatsApp to confirm a time by the morning so I can arrange my lunch break accordingly. He failed to do so. Nonetheless I paid thw outstanding doctors bill.

now I am being harrassed by their lawyers saying I have to pay their bill. Please not that during this whole mess no final letter of demand was sent. And now suddenly everyone can message me via WhatsApp demanding money but couldn't use this same channel to nofity me that the bill was infact rejected by Unity Health.

This is ******ion, harassment and definitely ********* practices and inadequate communication on purpose by both doctors involved and Unity health. This is disgusting and shameful. 0 ****ing stars!!
