What is the point of travel insurance if they don't pay?!

Absolutely terrible! What is the point of getting travel insurance to protect you against risks of lost luggage if they are not willing to pay you out for delays and lost luggage?! It is always hard to get money out of an insurance company even when it is your OWN money that you paid them to insure you in case of emergencies like lost luggage. We had no luggage for 6 DAYS! Thinking that the cheapest option would be shopping at the flea market we went there and they did not have receipt facilities because it is a flea market but it is where we could get the cheapest clothes, we NEEDED the essentials our bags didn't arrive for 6 days so it was essential to get clothes and toiletries but yet we get back and submit the claim with the tags because we did not have the slips and they have refused to pay us the money they OWE us for delays and lost bags! I am furious and will NEVER use this company or recommend them to anyone!
