I tried to apply for financing with OobaSolar, and it has been quite frustrating. I read that I could use my own service provider, and I understand that a vetting process needs to happen, but there was no oversight, and I still don't know if my service provider has been contacted. The person I have been dealing with has not been satisfactory, and I constantly have to follow up with them on the status of my application. It has been a month and I still don't know the outcome.

From what I can see is if you don't use their service providers, then don't bother applying through Ooba.
