Untruthful worker

Where do I start. I walls not prepped correctly nor were the ceilings prepped correctly. I had a bucket of brass fittings etc behind the washing machine they needed the bucket so emptied them on the floor got my chap to pick them up and put them in a bag then all of a sudden the one guy says they belonged to him but they where full of dust from being in my bucket behind the washing machine and they were never here to do any water repairs only to do painting. The chap got quite argumentative and I didn't want to argue so I just gave them to him. I then now at the end of me having to put all my cupboards back and I opened my underwear draw where I had my daughters iphone only to discover it had been taken I am truly disappointed in the ***** that had the audacity to go into my private belongings and remove the phone that was not theirs.
