Look to rent through any other property company.

They come after you very quickly if you're even R100 in arrears. They send threatening emails saying "This will heavily affect your credit score". They charged us pre-emptive electricity fees without providing us with actual measures. We had months where all tenants were out of the property and the electrical rates still came to over R1.5k per person; despite very little electricity being used.

Months after leaving we have actually had to inform them that they owe us money- this is despite them charging us exorbitant cancellation fees.

We are now two and a half months down the line and are still waiting for them to pay us the money owed to us.
