Poor service from Only Realty Costal Port Elizabeth

In December 2023, I rented a loft apartment through Only Realty Coastal PE. The ingoing inspection was conducted without me, and I reported mould on the walls, ceiling, and blinds within the required 30-day period, supported by photographs. Despite this, no action was taken.

When I moved out in 2026, the outgoing inspection was done without my presence after the agent instructed me to leave the keys at the gate. The mould that existed when I moved in was unfairly attributed to me, despite being recorded and reported at the start of my tenancy.

As a result, R1,300 was deducted from my R7,000 deposit, and I received only R5,700 back. I believe the deduction was unjustified and resulted from poor handling of the inspection process.
