Online Car Parts blatant refusal for reimbursment due on defective part

Bought steering rack from Online Carparts 1 Bond Street Kensington Ranburg on 28 Jan 24. Collect the part myself from their site. After installing the part it became clear that it was a defective part. Request a replacement. Was told that I had to return the part at own cost and also had to pay cost for replacement part. Done so and again received a defective part. Request a reimbur*****t where upon I was told that I had to return the part at own cost whereafter I will receive reimbur*****t. Done so wherafter they tried to sell another part to be. Nearly 4 months later, 117 calls to them, 5 different representatives from Online Carparts involved ,7 E-mails from my side and only one reply from them ( e-mail from their legal department) still no reimburstment. Lots of blatant lies, false undertakings still same position as at start of process. Each time a representative got no more answeres (lies?) they pass the query on to another person. Same process starts all over again : Who was the salesman, what part did you ordered, what is the cost of part etc,etc,etc. New promises, new lies. They even blocked my no at the switchboard as calls was not attended to but directly after that I call from a different no and they attend to the call ????. Today 07 May 24, I was made an offer wherein they offer me R 5000.00 within a week and the rest of the balance R 9 999.00 at a later stage. Noteless to say that they tried to fool me again. Once I agreed on that it can be seen as an agreement. They then will delay again on the payment of balance. Once again they underestimate my integrity and trying to take me for a fool.

Plse see the reviews on their website and every third or so review simi**** to my issue. My opinion is that they are doing this deliberately. Also See the amounts involved. It is realy scary. This is definitely a possible ***** case as intentions and modus operandi is quite clear.

I’m in the process to get clients with simi**** situation involved with aim of civil claim and ******** action against Online Car Parts. Already got 13 individuals involved. Case also reported to Consumer Board.
