************?

My printer kept showing an error message about the ink absorber needing to be cleaned. Also, I hadn't had it serviced in a while. I found Online Automation on Google and gave them a call. www.onlineautomation.co.za/ ********** I contacted them on Thursday 6 July and they confirmed a collection the next day between 12h00-14h00 - they arrived at the confirmed time. So far so good. I instructed Jakes, the collection guy, to ensure that I was phoned first to discuss what was wrong with the printer and for a quote before we proceeded. When asked about the rates, he said he wasn't sure and mumbled something about R 190.00 collection and delivery if there was nothing nothing they could fix - a minimum charge, if you will. Monday came, and I heard from no one. Tuesday I phoned and couldn't get through. Eventually, after many attempts the call was diverted to Jake's mobile number - he apologized and said someone should've phoned and he was going to remind them. He could only confirm that the printer had been reset and the error was gone, but couldn't confirm whether it had been serviced - he wasn't sure. Hey??? He also mentioned something about the "people we sent it to", which was concerning. No one phoned. On Wednesday morning, after numberous attempts, I got hold of him again and insisted my printer be returned that day. It arrived at between 12h00-14h00, as promised. It was working, but Jakes couldn't say whether it had been serviced. This morning, Thursday, I received an invoice for R 495.00 for resetting my printer. More importantly - and this is something to remember for the future - all of my ink jets, which were pretty full when the printer was collected, came back almost empty. MMMMM. Have I been ****med? Avoid this ***** business. The invoice I received comes from On-line Automation (in Excel format), and there were a few other tabs for a De Stadler and Associates. I phoned the number on that tab, but the number doesn't exist. On Facebook, the two De Stadler & Associates that came up, with two different addresses in the Cape, also have numbers that don't exist. Something very fishy indeed.
