Not trustworthy at all.

They don't deserve a star! Not a trustworthy company at all. After contacted Dexter Msamba for a Nu-tec home in May 2024, he assured me that they do have a team in the Western Cape, and after discussing the project he demanded that I have to pay a deposit to fix the prices of the materials. On 31/07/2024 I've pd a deposit of R525,000, and he promised me I will have a house by end Oct 2024. My husband past away in 2023 and I have to sell the house and the buyers had to move in end of Oct 2024. They only started en Oct 2024 and then there were a problem with the foundation, they digged a larger foundation of a 1m x 1m although the engineers report recommend it to be 400m x 650m. Then Dexter send me a quotation on the additional materials for the 1m x 1m foundation of R540,000!!! I did not accept his quote because I did not give my written consent to carry on with the 1m x 1m foundation. He then stopped production and until today, I don't have a house. I'm a pensioner and now I'm renting a small unit to live in as well as a storeroom for my furniture & boxes. He refuse to pay my money back because he now only want to build to roof level, what meen it will only be foundation, outside panels (it's nu tec), windows and doors. That's definitely not R525,000 worth. Now I had to appoint a attorney to help me, this was all my money I've invested in my retirement home, but now I have not enough money to get another builder. Dexter did the same to another old lady, and told her that he have to get money from other projects to finish her house. Not surprisingly, he never finished her house, now he wants to do the same to me!!! Please stay away from One-Tach Construction
