OneDebt caused my debt to double

My whole Debt review process with OneDebt was a shambles. They never gave any "debt counselling" or assistance and distribution of funds to my creditors was not in line with the court order. They also never explained any of the accounts with me.

1. Absa sent me warnings and OneDebt did not assist so I had to remove my credit card from Debt review and set uo my own debitorder. 2. SAHome loans threatened to cancel the debt review too as OneDebt had not been paying the amount agreed upon. 3. My personal loan from DirectAxis was not handled correctly and I was never informed by OneDebt that the account had been handed over to Capital data. I never received statements from them or DirectAxis so I had to believe the Statement sent monthly by OneDebt, but these statements became fewer and eventually I no longer received any. On the OneDebt statements it showed that DirectAxis were charging zero interest, meanwhile Capital Data were charing huge interest. I found out after many requests that I owed double the amount on the OneDebt statement. After my own research I discovered that the account had been handed over to Capital Data. After only 2 weeks the interest climbed by R6000. So after being with OneDebt for 5 years, I now owe Capital Data R387000, having started with an amount of R210000 with DirectAxis, and meanwhile the amount owed according to my last statement from OneDebt was R162000. Not once did they explain why or how the amount doubled.

People do not use OneDebt, their service is substandard and they do not care. I have subsequently cancelled and am no longer under debt review.

Thanks Monica and for telephoning me. I trust you can shed light on why my Debt with Capital Data has escalated so drastically without notice. I am pretty sure this would be an absolute shock to anyone who experienced this news.

Monica, Direct Axis called me now. The account was not paid from Jan - March 2016 and was handed over as far back as May 2016. I was neither infirned by your company or Direct Axis. As I was under the "protection" of the debt review court order until last month, I believe the onus is thus on OneDebt to provide proof of payment and to reverse the damage done by liaising with both Direct Axis and Capital Data to sort this matter out and clear my name including removing all interest charged since May 2016.

Monica, the default in payment according to Direct Axis occurred 3 yrs ago in January Twenty Sixteen, NOT in January this year. I have now written numerous emails to Insaaf who keeps requesting payment proofs from this current year. Please look further back into the archives.

Monica I was just given proof of payment and it proves that neither I nor OneDebt were at fault and the problem stems completely from Diect Axis who accused us of defaulting on payments. The account should never have been handed over by Direct Axis and should never have accrued so much interest. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. Ditect Axis owes both of us an apology and need to remove the account from Capital Data as well as clearing my name and removing the unjustly charged interest. My sincere apologies for thinking the problem stemmed from OneDebt.

Monica after your company sent proof of payment to DirectAxis it was found that for those 3 months in question the money was paid into some other account other than that of Direct Axis. How, why? Who changed the bank details and then changed it back after 3 months again? Where did the money go? Did they receive all payments before and after January to March twenty sixteen to date? But the big question is, seeing that this seems to be your company at fault, how are you going to resolve this with Direft Axis and Capital Data, pay the missing payments and bring down my balance? Moreover, when and how are you going to clear my name?

Monica this has now become ridiculous. Your company just sends emails and then sits back, yet DirectAxis have stated a number of times it is OneDebt who paid the money into the incorrect t account. Because they never received payment they handed this account over to Capital data and I am sitting with huge interest and amount to settle while I am on a disability pension. I want action to be taken now and the monies that went into the wrong account to be paid to Direct Axis and for my balance to revert to the correct amount. I am told that you are investigating the matter but in the meantime it is costing me dearly. Please call me and do not leave your telephone number here in numbers as it will not be displayed. Please spell it out. I am really unhappy with One Debt and I am going to other forms of Socia Media if no results are received.
