45th Birthday Ruined by OneCart.

These online retail establishment ruined my birthday on the 14th of Sep by splitting my order into two. The first one was delivered, albeit with some complications.

The second installment was a centrepiece of my 45th birthday: nectar bottles and MCCs. Their driver, Ntokozo, admitted that he couldn't use GPS and on live driver tracking option on their app, I could see him driving all around my location except coming to me.

Their whatsapp support agent, Ayanda, kept saying the courier will deliver. So I stood outside in the sun from 12 - 3pm 🤭

The end results was that I then became sour and rude to my guests. They creamed it by claiming my order has been delivered. They were lying.

When I explained to them they ruined a celebration by making me wait in the sun, **** that the courier is on his way (I could see him driving further and further until he claimed my order was delivered), they answered few days later with a predictable "we have refunded you". That's just rude cos I mentioned I can't pick up calls due to a sound processor (one of my guests spoke to the first driver, and another guest spoke to Ntokozo for me).

But here is a kicker. It wasn't my first time ordering. The previous two orders were delivered without me answering any calls. It was all done and arranged online.

On my birthday it's when they decided it's a good day to split the order, get inexperienced drivers who can neither use GPS or answer whatsapp!👀

It's really an online ****a shop with no tried and tested SOPs!
