No stock of free holiday voucher

I was contacted by a Marketing company to attend a presentation today (15/01/2015). They said I would be given a free voucher for a weekend away. I told this lady that I had received a free holiday voucher from this company in the past, and she said that was no problem - my free voucher was guaranteed if I attended the presentation today. She also said I was under no obligation to purchase anything and could leave my credit cards at home. I drove 50 kms from home to attend the presentation. As soon as the sales consultant realised I was not going to purchase anything, she first said that availability of my voucher would be restricted to a weekend in the Cape. She then said that I could only have a mid week voucher. We went to speak to the Receptionist, who said that they had no stock of weekend vouchers, and she would have to email me a voucher at a later stage. Both blamed LPA's Marketing company for telling me I would receive a free weekend voucher, saying that they were not responsible. <div><br></div><div><em>(Supplier name changed from Leisure Portfolio Association to One Year Gift by Hellopeter.com)</em></div>
