I got a quote from them to move my furniture from CapeTwon to Joburg, done the inventory list as well as a telephonic inventory list with them, walked from one room to the next keeping telling them that my furniture is Bulky and Heavy and will need a large truck. Gerhard send me a quote of R18.450.00, for a 34TON TRUCK, included in the price was wrapping and blankets. We excepted the quote, they come with the truck on 20th October 2018, ITS WAS A 6 TON truck THE QUOTE I GOT FROM THEM stipulated A 34TON TRUCK . I phoned Carl as this truck was way to small not even all my garage stuff will fit in it.

CARL then said I have to pay more for the move if I need a bigger truck and increased the price from R18,450.00 to R22, 000.00. Running out of time and being desperate we excepted the new Quote. They agreed to send a 36Ton on Monday 22 October 2018.

On Monday the truck arrived and its was indeed a large truck big enough for all our furniture. The wrapping they send was 2 small rolls that looked and felt like GRADRAP, the moving guys who assist me to rap some of the furniture said its going to take the hole day to rap some of the furniture with the GLAD rap and that the rap is not that good to protect the furniture. They said there is some bubble rap in the truck the was 1 and a half a roll of bubble rap so we started to use that. Just before the last piece of furniture was loaded I received the below email from ONE STOP REMOVERS.

So They charge us R4500 extra for 1 and a half roll of Bubble wrap, I phoned around to get prices on 200 meters of bubble wrap and the most I could get it for was R600.00 They did not phone me beforehand or told me anything that the bubble rap is extra or will cost me this match. with the furniture already loaded their was no way we could leave the move us Carl was saying who is going to pay his guys for the day. NOW THEY WANT TO GIVE ME R1000 discount on the BUBBLE WRAP what a *******, they already rip me off with the quote in the first place and now this. Every time I spoke to both GERHARD and CARL they raised their voice at me and spoke to me in a manner no one should speak to a lady like this and have no respect for WOMAN. FROM THE ORIGINAL QUOTE of R18,450.00 TO END QUOTE R25,800.00 ITS A FULL R7,350.00 unexpected expense for this move.

I will complain on every platform available on the internet, Facebook and local papers to warn the public of using this company for their service.

PLEASE PEOPLE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY THE FIRST QUOTE THEY SEND IS NOT WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO PAY FOR YOUR MOVE BELIEVE ME!!!
