in January 2024 One Insurance Underwriting's Client rear ended my vehicle which was driven by my wife. since the accident, the claims handler has been using various tactics to have the claim settled, She has asked for photos repeatedly, requested, copies of the licence disc repeatedly and changed her request and asked for the Natis / Logbook, Then quotes incorrect description on the documentation. Asks again or re submission of the drawing of the accident, finally send trough a settlement with incorrect information. Calls again to verify bank account, After all of this, the claim is rejected based on an error on the Panel Beaters invoice - Calculation error. Re checked the Panel Beaters invoice and we found no errors. Bear in mind they asked for 3 quotes, now they claim an error just before payout. Please note that One insurance underwriting underwrites for Mutual and Federal Risk Financing. I have now handed the matter over to the attorney to deal with.
