DO NOT HIRE AVESH SUKDEV from One Handy Guy

I hired a contractor, not only was he a contractor but a close family member name Avesh Sukdev that lives in Johannesburg Northern suburbs. My request was simple that was t build an office in my workshop and also dig a pit to install my dyno tuning machine. He then gave me a quote of R25,000 labour \whom being family I paid him upfront\" and I bought all of the materials in cash as per his request, firstly he advised me that a wooden structure would be far better and cost savings and he used Masonite for walls. I didn't have the background on building, I trusted him until I started noticing that his make shift unsafe structure started to warp, he still assured me that it was normal and that rhinolite will solve the problem, the pit he dug wasn't measured properly as well. Then came all the excuses about him being involved in an accident and he started delaying the build costing me more money etc, eventually once he knew he had messed up, he decided to run away from the work and left my shop opened with more than R 300,000 rand of equipment. I had to then hire more people and do work myself which resulted in me getting hurt and loosing my index figure in the process.. "
