The worst service in the world !

I recently received a Handheld Thermometer for this company and it worked precisely twice. We did not drop it, or mishandle it in any way - we simply put in the required 9 volt battery and used it. It now will only say "Lo" no matter what buttons we press. They have responded precisely once to about 10 email I have sent including Registered mail - it is 7 days now from date of delivery and have have no satisfaction. Their response was "It was tested prior to delivery" i.e. Fobbed !!! I am (or rather was) a loyal customer and this is the first time I have returned anything - I am totally horrified that nothing has been done about this, it shows utter contempt for their customers - I don't care if it's lockdown - the unit is for lockdown !!!!!!!!!
