Poor return policy on faulty unit
We bought an Airfryer for someone as a present 5 months down the line we receive an E1 error Multiple WhatsApps and emails, and finally get a WA from a Muhammed After submitting videos and all relevant information I am told that the matter is referred to Admin, they will be in contact After some more WA and threats to give them a bad rating, I am told to return the unit AT MY COST, and they will 'have a look' and replace or give me a store credit And if I don't have the original packaging, they will not entertain the warranty... From their correspondence, the following - Note that we had delivered a full functional unit to you on the 25/04/22. The item worked in accordance for 4 months as you had first reported a fault on 27/09/22
Also from their correspondence - Please note all faults must be reported within 7 days of receiving your goods. Although that time has passed we can still assist you as per below policy. You may send it back to us using your own courier of choice and book this in at your cost (NON REFUNDABLE). The items must be returned in its original packaging, with all accessories and in a new condition.
So again, lesson learned, penny wise, pound foolish... I will buy from Takealot next time, they have an EXCELLENT return policy
So to One Deal, sorry, you are just not giving the service that we expect...
