Order 529991 - Cancellation

Good morning,

I placed an order on 20 January 2022, Order 529991. A few hours after the order was placed, I sent an email to *** advising that I want to cancel.

When I didn't receive a response by 24 January 2022, I sent another email at 08:56AM requesting the cancellation. At 4:23PM, I noticed that my order had progressed to "packing", and sent another email requesting the cancellation. I then forwarded the same email to *** and ***, and also explained that I need to cancel because I no longer need the item.

The contact telephone number listed on their website, (011) 337 – 5581, is not operational, and I have been trying to call it since the order was placed.

I did whatever I could to cancel this order, prior to delivery, and now I will likely be expected to cover the cost of returning the item.

I regret making this purchase, and urge any other individual to not make use of this service.

Missed a call from One Deal A Day, and subsequently received a WhatsApp from the same number. I sent proof of all the correspondence sent, got an apology for the lack of response, and was assured that I would get a full refund once the product has been returned. This was received on 26 January 2022. I asked who would carry the cost for the return, and my message was delivered, but not responded to.

Sent another message following up on 27 January 2022, which was delivered, but no response received. My last sent today, 28 January 2022, has also not been responded to.

It would seem that I'm not going get any joy from One Deal A Day. What a terrible experience. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF USING THEIR SO-CALLED SERVICES!!!
