onedealaday.co.za - definitely not recommended - stay away

I purchased a Portable Electronic 7.5l Cooling and warming Fridge under invoice 52781 from onedealaday.co.za which was paid for on Dec 7, 2017 . The item was delivered to me on Friday 15 December 2017 . I decided to test the portable electronic fridg the same day and drove around for 90 minutes with the device plugged into my cars cigarette lighter and a bottle of water inside. The switch was turned to cold. Much to my horror, the bottled water was not cooler at all after 90 minutes of driving. In fact, i would go as far as to say the water was warmer. The cooler was definitely not working. On Monday 18 December 2017 i advised onedealaday.co.za of the defective elecronic fridge which is well within the 7 day return window period. I was advised by Fay " However, I would like to bring to your attention, once received and my technician guys have found NO fault with this item, I will have to deduct the courier charges from the refund for this collection or if you want a replacement you will have to arrange a collection from us yourself". I advised Fay to arrange for collection as I had the portable electronic fridge checked by two independent persons who both confirmed the device was defective. The portable electronic fridge was picked up on December 20, 2017. I have since written to onedealaday.co.za customer service team on Dec 28, 2017, Jan 02, 2018, Jan 04, 2018 and Jan 09, 2018 asking for an update on my refund. I have had no response from their Customer Service Team. Not only do onedealaday.co.za have my money but they are also in receipt of their defective Portable Electronic 7.5l Cooling and warming Fridge which was collected by a courier company they chose and arranged. To be honest I am utterly disgusted by their lack of ownership and customer obsession and would strongly advice any person not to do on-line shopping with them. Please onedealaday.co.za - return my money!!!!
