One Deal A Day Vacuum Robot

Purchased a Vacuum Robot from One Deal A Day on 5/3/2021. Paid via Credit Card. Received parcel on 12/3/2021 via courier. On their Online site this item is advertised as having a Sensor to prevent collisions with obstacles, it also states it has a docking station. On opening the box of the Vacuum Robot it clearly states in the instruction insert that this item does NOT have a Obstacle Collision Sensor nor does it have a docking station. This is misleading information as I would never have purchased this item if it did not have the specs. Furthermore, it stated I needed to charge the appliance using their USB charger supp**** for 90 minutes. I found that the charger does not fit properly into the Vacuum Robot, was very loose, only fitted in halfway and took overnight for a slight charge. Upon switching the appliance in a green light came on the Vacuum Robot stayed in one place and went around in circles all the time. Clearly not working as it should move across the floor. I immediately sent an email to One Deal A Day on 13/3/2021 and to date no reply to my first email. I also sent a message to them via their Facebook page to which after a few hours received a reply they will look into the matter. On 15/3/2021 after no response from them I sent another email. I received a reply stating I must pay for courier to return the item. As products are randomly checked prior to delivery they will access the product and if found unsatisfactory or faulty they will refund me less courier costs. How does this relate to Good Customer Service? Firstly misleading advertising, secondly you only have 7 days to lodge a complaint and to which you have to send numerous complaints to get a reaction, thirdly I must pay courier fees to send back a faulty appliance? I’ve seen numerous complaints about the very same issues and on the same Vacuum Robot here on Hello Peter. Please be very careful buying from One Deal A Day as they quick to take your money but no refunds, no customer services. One **** A Day it seems.
