Bad after care service and communication post death of animal

Let me start off by saying that the initial service at Onderstepoort was amazing. Regrettably my French Bulldog passed away whilst undergoing tests (MRI Scan etc) to ascertain what was wrong with him. Naturally this was devastating and I did not blame the Drs as they had done everything they could for him after he 'crashed' under anesthesia. The after service however has been very poor. I selected to have a post mortem done. 10weeks later, no feedback. Initially I was told 6weeks, then 6-8weeks then all of a sudden 12weeks. I have tried maybe a dozen times to get hold of the Pathology Department - this simple task seems very complicated and clearly its a dead-end each time. Losing your animal is traumatic enough, but not gaining closure is even worse. Hope that you will sharpen up your communication skills, as a paying client. Especially paying a vet bill of R18 000 with no dog to take home with you and then no feedback thereafter!
