Delivery in remote areas
Their delivery policy states 2-4 working days, but just because I stay in a remote area, I have to wait 2 weeks. They make use of a courier company called Fastway with Pargo Points that they claim to service daily. This is not the case. In fact, Fastway do not know themselves on what days they deliver where because at first it was no problem at all, they delivered everyday, then only on Mondays, then only on Tuesdays. It changes all the time. When I queried it in the end I was told that I have to pay R50 extra if I do not want to make use of this courier service, because it works for the 99% of customers that do stay in the main centers. Being a loyal return customer I do not think that this is fair play just because I stay in a remote area. This is my first experience with a business that discriminates against people staying in a remote area.

Hi Amanda, I’m really sorry that your order arrived later than you expected. As a customer of ours we never want you, or anyone else, to receive a bad experience. As a small business we are unfortunately unable to run our own distribution network. Instead, we use a set of couriers. By utilising two core couriers, we receive preferential rates. This enables us to deliver free anywhere in South Africa for all orders over R300 or R50 for all orders under. Our delivery policy does state that for outlying areas, we aim to deliver door to door within 4-6 days business days. Our couriers normally deliver well within that time, but they have unfortunately let us down. I have discussed this with them and they are aware of your, and our, frustration. We offered you an alternative express delivery for an additional R50, but understand your reasoning for not wanting to choose this option. It was good to speak to you last week, and hear your feedback in detail. I hope I have convinced you to come back and visit us again.
