Terrible service - Samsung brand being damaged

My dishwasher starteg giving problems a week ago. I was advised by Samsung to contact Onald's as the approved Samsung service centre.

Onald's insisted that I pay R420 up front for the call out which I did.
Their technician came to look at our dishwasher on the morning of the 07th of March. According to our domestic worker and video footage, he spent 5 minutes 'looking' at the machine and left.

I called Onalds on the afternoon of Tuesday the 07th of March to inquire as to the status of the repair. I was informed that they did not know what the status was but would find out on Wednesday morning the 08th of March and let me know.

On Wednesday the 08th of March I called Onalds again as they did not contact me as promised to inquire as to the status of the repairs. I was told that they 'think' I need a part but they will call me back to confirm.

On the afternoon of the 08th of March I called Onalds again as they did not contact me as promised to find out what was happening. I was again told that they 'think' I need a part and they will call me back.

At this point I contacted Samsung again to get details of a new repair centre centre to continue with the repairs. I guess I will have to write off the R420 or do my best to claim it back.

Judging from all the other complaints on hellopeter I am shocked and surprised that Samsung still makes use of Onald's as a preferred service centre. Guess they dont really care that much about their brand...
