Replacement of my SD PVR-I'm so sorry that I took the offer!!!!!!

<p>On 01/12/2016 I was contacted by an On Air TV sales agent. I was informed by him that my current SD PVR is being out faced by DSTV and that they (DSTV) are dropping their support for this decoder.</p> <p>I was then informed by the agent of this deal for R149.00 per month where I will receive 2 new decoders (Explora and HD decoder), dish, 25m cable, smart LNB and installation over 24 months in place of my current SD PVR.</p> <p>I then told the agent that with my current setup of my SD PVR as my extra view decoder(slave) and my explora as my main decoder I have three viewing option. According to him I would still have 3 viewing options, but I must just pay an additional R85 to DSTV for an additional extra view connection, which I said is fine. (I actually ask the agent 3 or 4 times will I still have all three viewing options, where by he answered yes and that I only have to pay an additional R85 for a second extra view. He never mentioned that I must pay installation fees for my existing DSTV explora)</p> <p>I was also told by the agent that with in 48 hours after I receive the decoders a installer will contact me for installation, which never happened. I received my decoders on 16/12/2016, it is now 23/01/2017 and it is still not install.</p> <p>On 10/01/2017 RF technologies came to install my decoders, but then the trouble starts.</p> <p>Firstly the installer said if I want to keep my 3 viewing options I must pay for an additional installation of R450. That was never communicated to me by the sales agent. So this mean’s to keep my current 3 viewing options I must pay an additional installation fee for my existing working DSTV explora, if I new that I would newer took this deal. I am actually worse off.</p> <p>On 10/01/2017 I contacted On Air TV’s technical support and explain the situation. I spoke to Valencia (not sure of spelling). She contacted the installer, where after she came back to me and said that they wound not charge me for an extra installations for my existing explora and that they will come and do the installation.</p> <p>This morning (23/12/2017) the installer came again to install my decoders. He then informed me that after he installed my new decoders my existing DSTV explora will not work any more. So now I am back to two viewing options again.</p> <p>The installer also want me to pay for extra cablling which is not necessary. All 3 three decoders is next to each other in the lounge, 8m from the dish. (The 25m cable included in this deal is enough for this installation.) I am still renovating my home, I don’t want to pay thousands for new cabling that must be redone in the future</p> <p> </p> <p>The cabling from decoders to the rooms will be by existing cabeling, the same as my current setup.</p> <p>Why on this earth will I take a deal where I must pay extra to get what I already have and why must I pay for things that was not communicated to me and that already exist. As I feel now I will never recommended Onair Tv to anyone!!!!!! Think twice before taking the deal!!!! </p>
