ONAIR - STREAMA - IS A CON - AND DOES NOT STREAM LIVE SPORT.

I am not impressed with their sales for their product Streama. A sales lady contacted me in April 2025 and asked if I would like to be able to watch live DStv sport for as little as R179 per month. DSTV Streama + Showmax for 12 Months @ R179 PM x24 Months, EMBEDDED VAS - RescueBox remote tech support, PROMOTIONAL ITEM - uConnect SIM plus R50 airtime monthly, EMBEDDED VAS - Vision 4 Movie tickets monthly. My reply: What's the catch? No, catch the lady assured me. I received my Streama, and you guessed it, no live sport, just a few highlights.. No code for the free years' Showmax subscription. After multiple emails back and forth to support at Onair, speaking to firstly, Aveeshay Chaitram then Padmani Kandhan and then Zenith Ibram then Denver Small, they admitted eventually that I need to phone DSTV and get connected. But what they omitted to tell me was that I would have to subscribe to DSTV sports channel for R400 per month to be able to watch live sports channels. I was furious with this misleading information and would never have subscribed for the Streama package for 24 months had I known this. Then I said I wanted to cancel the subscription, which I was informed I could not, as the 7-day grace period had already expired. More emails to no avail, except a WhatsApp message from Onair that I need to pay R179 or my credit rating would be compromised. So what can I do? Nothing! So good people out there, be very aware that Onair is a con, and don't be caught as I was.
