Onair customer service shocking
We get contacted by a Lady from on Air telling us about their promotion they had in June/July. My parents decided to go ahead and take the deal. They have a price lock because the cant afford to pay more than they already do. On the day of delivery they receive to decoders, my Dad immediately explained to the delivery guy he needs to take one back, he wont be needing or paying for two as it was not agreed upon either. My Dad than gets a call from Dstv weeks later telling him his account is in arrears. Clearly someone did not do what they get paid for. My Dad then calls the call centre and tries to figure this out, he is not the person to have outstanding accounts. He explained the lady couldn't understand him, she keeps repeating what she see's on the screen and cant answer his questions. All we need to know if he is in fact paying for two decoders or not, what happened to the price lock? To help his broken English (Which wasn't a problem when they sold him the package) I try calling myself to help. I get Neshin (if that is even his name) on the phone, he refuses to help 3rd party callers, and he is certainly not shy to shout it out. I am not impressed. I'm going the simple, helpful and more friendly route and switching them to Netflix.
