ON AIR MISLEADING AND ********* Multichoice service provider On Air TV consultant contacted sometimes early Marc 2019 , They introduced to me a new DSTV Explora and further informed me that new unit is using Wifi software which will enhance me to view wide variety of DSTV channels at a 24 monthly contract package cost of R119,00 . I also specifically told that I will have the privilege of remote recording and at NO additional cost. The fact that I am only paying for Excess package due to affordability I repeatedly asked the urgency representative to ascertain me that there will be no additional costs involved except the monthly contract rand figure, in this regard he confirmed yes hence he also indicated that the conversation was recorded. They were promotion a special to which I will pay about R119.00 over 24 months which will include the decoder, dish and installation. Upon enquiring from the I received prompt feedback and was informed that I was incorrectly advised by On Air. I will need to pay monthly extra R90.00 for WiFi to work, install a broadband at an additional cost. I immediately called ON Air Tv without success, I was told on voice prompt that they are offline, however I continued to call them in an effort to resolve the matter or get clarity, each time I would either be told that they are offline or they are experiencing power load shedding. Finally I managed to get them on the 26th March 2019, to my surprise the urgent representative indicated to me that I cannot get the audio recording and that if I cancel the contract deal I will be liable for a full contract cost which is R119.00x24 months. It is my feeling that I was misled to telephonically accept a contract deal through false and misleading information supp**** by On Air, is surely ******* in terms of the Consumer Protection Act and giving Multichoice a bad name. On Air Tv is taking advantage of poor consumers like me, the question is how many more consumers are faced with similar ******* act due to OnAir Tv lies when selling their business to consumers, Please get rid of ************ service providers such as On Air!!!! I plead for help please, I can not afford this anymore.
